The Jomaale, is a traditional jewellery indigenous to the Kodava community of Coorg, Karnataka. A necklace, its often multi-stranded and made of hollow, ribbed, gold beads threaded on a thick black cord. The gold beads are filled with lac. Its one of the important ornaments in every Kodava bride’s trousseau.
